Gonzaga Cultural Exchange Florence 2019

This cultural exchange is made even more special and fulfilling by the unity of the Chamber Chorus and Dance Program. We are so lucky to get to join our two worlds and celebrate music and the arts together.

Chamber Chorus

30 singers, 2 musical accompanists, and 1 Dr. Westerhaus later, we are so excited for this wonderful opportunity to explore Gonzaga In Florence's campus and learn more about the musical history Florence has to offer. While all the walking tours and Italian food may seem like the main event, we are very fortunate to get the opportunity to get to sing in some incredible spaces, and share our music with the other side of the world.

Dance Program

Our 16 dancers and fearless leader Suzanne Ostersmith are thrilled to be bringing a variety of styles and experiences to Italy! We’re looking forward to having the opportunity to connect with fellow dancers through dance workshops and perform in some magnificent spaces—all the while taking in everything that Florence and Castiglione delle Stiviere have to offer!
